The One Series Safety Transmitter is a pressure or temperature monitoring transmitter switch that provides a NAMUR NE 43 standard 4-20 mA analog output. Its programmable high-capacity solid-state safety relay output enables the fastest emergency shutdowns.
The One Series Safety Transmitter is certified for use in SIL 2 functional safety applications (HFT = 0), and is capable of SIL 3 applications when augmented by redundancy and voting logic. Its simple design means fewer nuisance trips — for greater safety, productivity, and throughput.

Since copper or plastic tubing is not required to connect the Model 231 remote sensors to the mechanical pipe shutoff valve a pipe fitter is not required, resulting in significant savings of time, labor, and materials for the mechanical contractor. The mechanical contractor can install the sensors, and only the services of an electrician are required to complete the installation, effectively reducing labor by one-third.

Startup time is also improved since eliminating copper or plastic tubing between the sensor and the pipe eliminates the need to purge air out of the lines to the sensor.
