Immersion Sensor Ex BOV

The immersion sensor Ex BOV (Bottom Outlet Valve) is incorporated into the bottom outlet valve of the company SchuF. The innovative and cost-efficient combination of sensor and valve is an ideal solution for process analytical applications in the pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical industries

Located in the bottom part of the vessel, the combination provides a suitable entry point for process monitoring in real-time without costly process connection. Thus, a modification of excisting reator vessels is not necessary. According to the ATEX and IECEx approval the sensor can be applied in explosion areas Zone 0






Sensor Accessories

In order to facilitate the installation of sensors into the process, there is a wide range of process adapters available for different pipe dimensions

LiquiSonic® IPA-Monitor

The IPA-Monitor is an efficient system for measuring the concentration of isopropyl alcohol in different print plants. It enables a highly precise online determination of IPA concentration in dampening water

System Features:

  • Measuring range from 0 to 20 Vol% isopropyl alcohol in dampening water
  • Measureing accuracy of 0.1 Vol% isoproprl alcohol
  • Independent of additives
  • Tough system without moving parts that can pollute

Application Advantages:

  • Reducing of the isopropyl alcohol consumption
  • Stabilization of the print process by having an optimal and constant concentration of isopropyl alchohol

The LiquiSonic® systems can also be applied to monitor all of the raw materials. In addition, the concentrations of the supplied solutions continuously and directly in the intake pipe to the process or the storage tanks

As well the sonic velocity measurement is used to control the mixing process (Blending), in order to realise an optimal mixture






LiquiSonic® Lab

The LiquiSonic® Lab is specifically designed for lab applications and as a portable system in process plants. The system is provided with a splash water-proof housing, and hence is also suited for rough operating conditions.

The electronic components of the sensor are integrated in the housing of the controller. Depending on the specific application this lab sensor can be made of different materials. The controller visualizes data collected by the sensor by displaying the concentration values. Being equipped with a high-tech microprocessor, the controller even copes with complex concentration calculations.

The clear, user-friendly and multilingual menu structure allows an easy handling without extensive manual study. The internal data memory has a capacity of up to 32,000 records. By reading out of the data via the integrated USB, TCP/IP or RS-232 interface, it is possible to create specific, customized process reports very fast. The process data or limit values will be updated in real time.






LiquiSonic®OCR

LiquiSonic® OCR is a high sophisticated inline analyzer that is based on modern technologies and a comfortable operation. Measuring precisely the pressure- and temperature-compensated sonic velocity directly in the process, the analyzer determines continuously and in real time oil concentrations in refrigerants for an optimum oil circulation ratio (OCR)

The system consists of one or more intelligent sensors and one controller which are connected with each other by a bus cable of almost any length. The sensor is installed via Plug & Play adapter in the refrigerant system. The measuring results are stored in the controller, allowing an easy creation of data sheets for documentation purposes. Additionally, the controller can be integrated in the corporate network or control systems.

The analysis of oils and refrigerants is carried out in the SensoTech in-house laboratory, so investment costs are comparatively low. If the process conditions change, the product data sets can be updated quickly and cost-efficiently.






LiquiSonic® Online Bath Monitor

The LiquiSonic® Online Bath Monitor is a high sophisticated liquid analyzer that is based on modern technologies and a comfortable operation. Measuring precisely the temperature-compensated sonic velocity directly in the bath or pipe, the analyzer determines continuously and in real time the concentration and contamination degree in cleaning or surface treatment baths.

The system consists of one or more intelligent sensors and one controller which are connected with each other by a digital line of almost any length. Investments costs are comparatively low, in particular, for a maximum of four sensors combined with only one controller suited for almost any distance between the individual measuring points.

The sensor can be integrated in any facility and is directly installed in the bath or pipe from DN 6 (NPS 1/8") or larger. For process automation, the online bath monitor can be connected to the process control system.






LiquiSonic® Plato & Brix

LiquiSonic® Plato & Brixis a high sophisticated inline analyzer that is based on modern technologies and a comfortable operation. Measuring precisely the temperature-compensated sonic velocity directly in the process, the analyzer determines continuously and in real time the concentration of various liquid beverage ingredients such as original gravity (°Plato), sugar (°Brix), extract or alcohol.

The system consists of one or more intelligent sensors and one controller which are connected with each other by a digital line of almost any length. Investments costs are comparatively low, in particular, for a maximum of four sensors combined with only one controller suited for almost any distance between the individual measuring points.

Using high advanced sonic velocity in a unique sensor design the system allows control and monitoring of concentrations at different points of the brewing process as well as in the beverage production.
