Houston Atlas Sola - Online ppm Sulphur in Fuel Measurement

The Houston Atlas Sola (Sulphur OnLine Analysis) instrument measures total sulphur in liquid hydrocarbon fuel process stream. The SOLA addresses the need for a low maintenance sulphur analyser that can reliably measure low ppm levels to help customers meet the tightening regulatory requirements limiting sulphur level in fuel.
The SOLA analyser uses the Pulsed UV Fluorscent (PUVF) detector with the pproven Houston Atlas Pyrolysis system for measuring total sulphur in gasoline, diesel, kerosene and jet fuel. The Pryolyser performs the conversions for total sulphur measurement without requiring a source of pure oxygen. A field-proven valve injection system includes hardware and software for precise control of sample introduction.
Although very reliable, the SOLA is a simple analyser to diagnose and maintain should a problem arise. This is due to extensive alarms and diagnostics coupled with maintenance capability of the optional workstation.
Full scale measurement ranges are from 0 -10ppm/wt to 0-4000ppm/wt. These ranges easily meet current and future measurement requirements for sulphur in fuel. Automatic stream switching is available dor dual-stream applications.

Houston Atlas Tracker - Online ppm Sulphur in Fuel Measurement

The houston Atlas Tracker measures total sulphur in gas or liquid hydrocarbon process streams. It is specifically designed to address the need for a low maintenance analyser that can reliably measure low ppm in hydrocarcon streams.
The Tracker uses a lead acetate tape detector to measure total sulphur as H
2S with no known interferences. total sulphur is measured using the proven Houston Atlas Pyrolser system. The Pyrolyser reduces sulphur molecules in a stream to hydrogen sulphide (H2S). Therefore, the instrument measurement reflects the actual concentration of only the total sulphur in the stream.
Instrument ranges meet current and future measurement requirements for sulphur in fuels. Additionally, the Tracker can automatically switch between two independatnly calibrated ranges based on the measured concentration in the stream. Automatic stream switching is also available for dual-stream applications.
Analser setup and operation are controlled by easy-to-use widows-based software installed on a remote laptop computer. Alocal display Magnatough control permits local viewing of operational status and control of analyser parameters without a computer.

Houston Atlas Tracker XP -

The Tracker XP uses a lead acetate tape detector for measuring H
2S. The proven Houston Atlas Pyrolser system is added for measuring total sulphur. The Pyrolyser reduces sulphur molecules in a stream to hydrogen sulphide (H2S). The H2S is then detected usign lead acetate tape. Since there are no known interferences to the lead acetate tape method, the measurements reflects the actual concentration of only H2S or total sulphur in stream.

Fluid Data Flo-Cal - High Speed Calorimeter

The Fluid Data Flo-Cal is an online, high-speed calorimeter used ot measure the heating value of combustible gases. the Flo-Cal fast response, reliable operation and ease of maintenance and calibration have made Thermo ONIX the world leader in Wobbe Index and Calorific Value calorimeters.
The Flo-Cal has 2 basic modes of operation, Wobbe Index and Calorific Value.
Wobbe Index provides a meaningful measurement of the actual heating characteristics of a gas micture. It measures the combined effects of gas composition changes.
Calorific Value is the heat value of the gas at standard conditions expressed as Gross Heating Value or Net Heating Value. A specific gravity measurement option is available Flo-Cal units measuring Calorific Value.

Fluid Data 8280 - Continuous Hydrocarbons in Water Measuring

The Fluid Data 8280 Hydrocarbons-in-Water monitor is a continuous sampling monitor designed for use where rapid response to light hydrocarbon (<C11) leaks or spills, along with high sensitivity and low maintenance, is required. It provides advance warning against contaimnated plant effluent, contaminated condensate return ot cooling water, as well as monitoring of light volatile organics or hydrocarbons in various other streams.
The 8280 has a wide range of leak detection with the capability to detect from a very low ppm range up to the 2 percent range. It is wells uited for monitoring most volatile organics and hydrocarbons,. It is effective for detection of benzene, 1,2-dichloroethane, propane, butanes, phenol, hexanes and other organic compounds in water. When equipped with the optional membrane stripper, the 8280 effectively detects organic compounds with high vapour pressure such as i-butane and n-butane. The 8280 is not suitable for detection for heavy, non volatile oils or greases.
