MP100/400H features the HygroClip S3 interchangeable sensor module for simplified field maintenance and calibration. The sensor module can be calibrated under laboratory or workshop conditions for best performance, then simply interchanged on site in minutes.

The new Rs Ventilation sheild has been developed in close cooperation with the swiss national meteorological service. It is a highly advanced product, designed to minimise the influence of the thermal radiation on humidity and temperature measurements, whilst maximising protection from the very worst weather conditions, including horizontalyl driving wind and rain. The performance of the Rs sheild in combination with the latest Rotronic meteorological probes is such that in comparative tests, measurement perfomance was practical identical to reference chilled mirror condensation hygrometers which are used by many national meteorological Organisations.

Accessories

A high quality range of installation accessories for ROTRONIC meteorological probes. VHTS2 radiation shield includes active ventilation to ensure the highest possible accuracy of measurement in any condition by circulating a steady flow of air over the sensors. The AC1003 radiation shield with passive ventilation protects the measurement probe from the effects of solar radiation and rainfall, and provides protection even with horizontal rain at up to 68km/h. Included with the AC1003, AC1012 is an extra protection tube for the connector and cable, to prevent water ingress even in the most severe conditions. The AC1004 shield offers passive protection and smaller dimensions to suit the HygroClip
probe options.
