Pride in the products we sell, the services we provide and in our
people characterise Pryde Measurement.
The Company was founded by George Pryde Paterson
over thirty years ago as a consulting group to the
chemical industry and has evolved to a position of
leadership in Australia for the importation,
distribution and service of instrumentation and
controls. To this day, however, we are guided by the
desire to thoroughly understand our clients’
applications as a precondition to business. This
professional attitude has resulted in Pryde
Measurement being selected as supplier by major
Australia companies, government instrumentalities
and other organisations.
Pryde Measurement sells and services throughout
Australia. It has installed it's equipment on oil
and gas exploration and drilling platforms, in
electric power generation stations, breweries, sugar
mills and other industries.
Pryde has offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane
and distributors in other areas such as Perth,
Adelaide, Albury-Wodonga, Hunter Valley, Townsville,
Darwin, Hobart and Launceston.
Pryde Measurement is largely owned by the people who
work for the Company. Everyone is a member of the
team and it is team effort that assures our clients
and suppliers of a commitment to excellence.
Emphasis is placed on balancing requirements for
personnel capable of giving sound application advice
with the necessity of instrument engineers. Pryde
Measurement works with it's staff to ensure their
personal and professional skills develop and
regularly trains personnel from it's network of
authorised distributors and service agents.
Pryde Measurement is a conservatively managed and
financed Company and maintains product and parts
inventory levels for fast response service to it's
customers. Appropriate risk management strategies
are in place to permit the company to take on large
projects when the need arises. Pryde Measurement's
commercial practices are equitable and are designed
for the building up of long term relationships with
both clients and suppliers.
