Aber Countstar

The Aber Countstar is a slide-based image analysis instrument for yeast cells that can be used with the same safe, traditional stains used in microscopy.

The instrument uses disposable slides containing 5 sample chambers that require just 20µl for each sample.

Using auto-focusing cell image analysis, one measurement takes less than 20 seconds with a 5 megapixel industrial colour camera to provide the cell count (total, live and dead), the viability%, cell diameter and the degree of aggregation.

COMPACT Lab Yeast Analyser

From ABER Instruments' range of brewing equipment, The COMPACT Lab Yeast Analyser (CLYA) measures the live yeast cell concentration off-line. It is ideal for breweries and biofuel production plants. The CLYA can now handle up to 20 different yeast strains.

It will measure concentrations up to 70% viable spun solids often without dilution and measurement units can be switched between “viable cells/ml” and “% viable spun solids”.

Compact Yeast Monitor

From ABER Instruments' yeast management product range, the COMPACT YEAST MONITOR measures the concentration of live yeast on-line. The COMPACT YEAST MONITOR is designed to be fitted on to standard instrument housings such as the Tuchenhagen varivent. This robust instrument is completely contained within an IP65 stainless steel housing.

Compact Adapt Yeast Monitor

From ABER Instruments' range of yeast management products, this adaptable Compact Adapt Yeast Monitor is ideal for measuring live yeast cell concentration in fermenters and propagators. It can also be used in-line on the pipework.

It has a Lightweight housing suitable for most fermenters and is ideal for 25mm diameter side mounted Ingold ports.
